Gmail auto-draft replies are capped daily rather than monthly, at 50 on Elite and 70 on Ultra. That is a specific, usable number worth knowing if that is the feature drawing you here over a general chat assistant, and the modest jump between tiers suggests it is not the reason to upgrade.

Where to be careful

At $18 a month Elite sits above a single ChatGPT Plus subscription, so the case for it rests on the cross-site convenience and the Gmail drafting rather than on model access you could not otherwise get. Work out whether you actually switch tabs often enough for that to be worth the difference.

A browser extension with deep site access is also worth reviewing the permissions on before installing, given how much it can see across the sites you visit. And the advanced response allowances are stated as approximate rather than exact, so treat 1,000 and 2,500 as guidance rather than a contractual limit.
