Editorial standards

This page explains exactly how the information on this site is produced, what our labels mean, and where the money comes from. If anything here does not match what you find on a listing, that is a mistake on our part and we want to hear about it.

Where the information comes from

Pricing, features, platform support and integrations are compiled from each vendor’s own public documentation, pricing pages and product pages. Where a listing states a fact, the sources it was taken from are linked at the top of that page.

We do not republish vendor marketing copy as though it were our assessment, and we do not generate descriptive filler to make pages look longer.

What “verified” means, and what it does not

A listing marked as verified means a person checked its details against the vendor’s own sources on the date shown. It means the pricing and features were accurate on that date.

It does not mean we have used the product. Where we have genuinely tested something hands-on, the page says so explicitly and names the date. Where it does not say that, we have not tested it, and you should read the page as a sourced listing rather than a review.

We think that distinction matters more than looking authoritative. A directory this size cannot honestly claim to have used every tool in it, and any site that tells you otherwise is not being straight with you.

Why some tools have fuller pages than others

Every tool in the directory is listed and browsable from the moment it is added. Detailed pages are built up over time, prioritised by what people actually look for.

A tool with a short entry has not been judged inferior. It simply has not been worked on yet.

Ratings

Where a rating is shown, it reflects votes genuinely collected from users. Where no ratings have been collected, no rating is shown and none is published in our structured data. We do not display a zero or a placeholder score as though it were a real result.

How we make money

Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up. This never costs you more.

Some listings are paid placements. Those are labelled Sponsored or Featured on the page itself, and any page carrying a compensated link shows a disclosure.

Commercial arrangements do not change the facts we publish, and they do not change a tool’s assessment. A vendor cannot pay to have a drawback removed or a price corrected in their favour.

Corrections

AI pricing changes constantly, and some of what is here will go out of date. Every verified listing shows when it was last checked so you can judge for yourself how much to trust it.

If you find something wrong — especially if you are the vendor — tell us and we will fix it. Corrections are free and do not require any commercial relationship.
